Dear Folks,

Can you believe that the Primary Election is less than a month away?

News From The Campaign Trail

The campaign is humming along nice and steady, with the Mayor remaining in a strong lead.

Funk's time is spent juggling his duties as Mayor and attending multiple campaign forums each week.

As usual, Funk's strength at the forums is in his ability to connect with the people that he serves. As the Mayor is fond of saying, "The voters are not stupid, they can spot a phony from a mile away." Conversely, they can also spot someone who is the "real deal."

Like last time, the campaign is reaching out to the Mayor's constituents through all types of social media outlets.  This helps serve those who want to be involved and informed, yet can't make it out to one of the forums for one reason or another. Check out video clips of many Mayoral Forums on Facebook and YouTube.

Yard Signs Are Coming

Since the Mayor already has great name recognition, we don't need to splurge on thousands of yard signs this election. The few hundred we will be getting are arriving next week.  They are excellent quality and quite large at 4'x8', so they will need to go in key, high profile locations throughout the city.  Get Your Yard Sign TodayClick here if you'd like one in your area, or call the campaign office at 816-283-8774. Also, if you have a truck or van that you drive frequently, please consider placing a sign on it in support of your Mayor.

On A More Personal Note

The Mayor has been focusing the city's money on basic city services such as snow removal and adding more cops to our police force.  We noticed that the snow removal efforts in our neighborhood were much better this year, and we're hoping that you noticed greater efforts in your neighborhood as well.

In faith,

Mark & Gloria
